Educational Philosophy as of January 27, 2009:
-All children deserve to have an equal education
-All teachers should be able to teach what they believe in
-Children are capable of more than what others think they are
-Teachers should plan lessons based on what children are interested in
-Every part of a child’s life should be taken into consideration when we teach
-Teachers should teach from their own experience
-Teachers should be able to recognize when a student is not engaged and adjust
-Teachers should know that not all students learn in the same way
-Teaching should happen in an open environment where children feel safe
